- Abatement work (such as asbestos removal or hazardous waste-related work).

- Bridge/highway painting.
- Ceramics.
- Furniture refinishing.
- Stained glass work.
- Art restoration.
- Fishing (if lead weights are used).
- Indoor target practice or bullet making (both can generate lead dust).
