Other Treatment
Cryotherapy, which uses a very cold liquid to freeze a wart, is the most commonly used procedure that does not involve medication to treat warts. This procedure poses little risk of scarring but can be painful.
Tape occlusion (duct tape), in which you use tape to cover the wart for a period of time, takes 1 to 2 months to remove the wart.
