Chronic prostatitis/pelvic pain syndrome, noninflammatory, is a common form of prostatitis. It causes pain in the pelvic area, where the prostate is located, without symptoms of general illness, infection, or inflammation.

Chronic prostatitis/pelvic pain syndrome, noninflammatory, was formerly called prostatodynia.
