My Story

I have it, or it has me - I'm not sure which. Some days my balance is poor, or my legs feel like lead. If I turn around, I get lost. My ears ring, pressure builds behind my eyes. My back feels like it's being broken in half, and I get an electrical jolt on the side of my foot. Those are just a few of the many pleasures I've been given.

I have been on medication after medication. Muscle relaxers. Pain killers. Anti-inflammatories. Anti-depressants. Nerve relaxers. Etc., etc. I have seen doctor after doctor, always waiting for the next appointment for someone to help me find relief.

But no more. I'm quitting. I'm going to get back on track and get my life back. I'll continue to take only the meds that I absolutely have to - I dumped all the rest down the toilet and it felt so gooda!

So that's that. Hello life, here I come!
