Invest in a walk-in or roll-in shower that has a low threshold, making it easy to enter.
-
Add light switches so you can turn on lights at top and bottom of stairs and without having to walk across a room.
-
Make sure steps and walkways are in good repair.
-
Check handrails to be certain they are strong enough.
