Angela knew something was wrong. She knew her mother was going to die. And when her premonition came true, she couldn't deny her psychic ability anymore.

Angela's Story

"I began to realize that my mother was going to die in the next three months."

It was almost as if it was a voice in my head telling me that this was going to happen. It was voice that I recognized, a powerful definitive voice in my head, but I thought I was making it up. I thought that I was having anxiety -- I had just moved from Japan, I had a young baby, my marriage was on the rocks, I was not in a happy place at all.

"I discussed it with my family, and they all though I was a lunatic."

My mother was fine, but I called her just to make sure everything was okay. I never told her that I was having these feelings, but I discussed it with my family and they all thought I was a lunatic because she wasn't ill. People had dinner with her the night before, and she was great. But the voice didn't go away.

"I knew if she lied down that I would never speak to her again."

The feeling was very persistent until three months later. I called my mother, and she said "I am not feeling very well right now. I think I am coming down with a cold, and I think I am going to lie down and take a nap. Would you please call me in a half an hour?" I hung up the phone and was pacing in the kitchen. I started calling family members, and again no one believed me. Everyone said, "She is fine, nothing is wrong, leave it alone, you are over reacting." I gave it a few minutes, and I called her back. She said she was fine and she laid down again. Five minutes later I called her back because I just couldn't let her go. Several phone calls later she stopped answering, and I knew it was because she was dead.

"That premonition stuck with me, and I spent the last year doing a lot of soul searching."

I am very Christian, very religious and very much believing in God. I didn't look into psychic abilities too terribly much until that happened to me. There is a tremendous stigma around being a psychic. The giggle factor is always there. People laugh or giggle or think it is funny. But people that I have helped don't laugh, people that I have given readings to or consultations to don't laugh. I believe we all have a very powerful intuition. It is a connection that we all individually have with God, and we are given the information when we need it.

"People are the masters of their own destinies, but by using my psychic abilities, I can help them make decisions."

I try to make my psychic assessment an option rather than something that you have to do. I always tell people, "Sit with this and think about this. Don't make your life decision based on what somebody else tells you what to do. See if it rings true for you. Pray and meditate yourself, and if it works, it works, but don't make a move based on what I believe is right for you." Many times it takes someone else to see your situation differently because when you are stuck in your own stuff you can't see outside of that. That is mainly what I do.

"I feel like I have a purpose, and I feel like I am doing the work that I came to this life to do."

I believe that my mother gave me my psychic ability, that it was the gift she left me at the door when she exited this world. It was a beautiful gift, and it guided me to make major decisions. That still voice was a beacon in the dark for me.
