Other conditions with symptoms similar to Sjögren's syndrome

Sjögren's syndrome is a disease that causes dry eyes and mouth. Several other health conditions have symptoms similar to Sjögren's syndrome, including:¹

Infections, including influenza, mumps, and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).
Sarcoidosis.
Tumors.
Diabetes.
Dehydration.
Radiation treatment in the past to the head and neck.
