OH MY GOD. They use the term "at risk". What kind of biased, twisted thinking is this. Its not a DISEASE. Its normal. Its PERFECTLY NORMAL. okay.. you figured it out.. i am majorly balding at 45. But i would like to give a hearty EFF YOU to those of you who even bat an eye at a guy going bald. From now on folks.. small breasted women are also ... at risk. You can test at a young age to find out if you will have SMALL BREASTS.. Oh my god to be stricken with small breasts your whole LIFE. Fck the writer of this article and his ilk.

for years now I have seen TV commercials on Hair Loss for men and how thier Hair Replacement method works. I am interested in looking for a place for myself and my 33 yr old son. Where do I start to look and which one is trust worthty and has a good rating/reputation?

When you get colon cancer, you will forget all about your thinning hair.

I too am experiencing minor hair thinning and hair loss in the areas surrounding my forehead, but I had a severe head injury causing a fractured skull and fractured sinus and I am now taking medications for seizures(Dilantin 100mg/Depakote 500mg) daily, could this be one of the causes of my hair loss because the medicines that are taken do have some steroids.

Thanks for this artical. My hair is thinning on one side and it doesn't seem to be getting any better. I was wondering what I did to bring this on. At least now I know, due to being diabetic (using insulin) this may be the cause. Thank God women can get away with wearing wigs. Someday I might need one.

The title of this essay is "Baldness: are you at risk?" which it doesn't address until 2/3's the way thru and then briefly before returning to medical tests not avaiable yet or costly to explore. Yawn.

Someone mentioned men loosing hair on their legs as they age. It happens to men AND women. BODY hair gets thinner. In my opinion, its one of the nicer things about getting older.

In his picture, Dr. Howard Levy resembles Dr. Gregory House, from the TV show.
