What about prevention, such as the taking of a dietary supplement? That is a major piece missing from this article.

I just wanted to say that I have had bad problems with anemia all my life. I couldnt even take the medicines and iron supplements that doctors were giving me because my body wouldnt even absorb them. My hemo would get as low as 6 I finaly started to do IVs I would go sit at the hematologist office for a little over an hour everyday with an IV in me getting my iron. But then finaly at the age of 50 I found out I have something called "Celiac disease". My doctor blamed my monthly period, I was told I needed to start eating better, I was given all different kinds of iron supplements, and believe me when you body doesnt absorb those realy strong iron supplements, You become very sick to your stomach!! So if you have had a long running problem with anemia, You might want to get checked for Celiac disease. Just case you would have it, the doctors don't tell you It is hereditary.

I have proven that you can eliminate anemia with Alfalfa Tablets. I took two twice a day while pregnant twenty eight years ago. My daughter was told she would have to store blood and have her baby in the Houston Medical Center and they took her blood, put her on two alfalfa tablets twice daily for two weeks and she was safe and no more anemia. She had a healthy baby with NO Problems. Iron pills only hurt your stomach and block the trace minerals etc. in your body. Try it ! Let the doctor take your blood test and in two weeks you will learn for yourself. This product is all natural, The Good Lord Put it on Earth !

I was just diagnosed as iron-deficient. I write specifically to ask if the "deficiency" of the red blood cells produced within the bone marrow from AMINO ACIDS and iron WITH the AID of VITAMIN B-12 and FOLIC ACID might be influenced for the positive with the ADDITION of B-12 and Folic Acid to the diet?? Are there any other homeopathic solutions that do not involve "big pharma?"
