    Why are the complications that came happen from this exam not included here?

    I HAD NO IDEA THAT YOU COULD STILL GET A PAP WHILE ON YOUR PERIOD. I ALWAYS CANCEL MY APPOINMENTS WHEN THAT HAPPENS. THANKS.

    Research does not support having a pap smear every year. Many countries support having a pap smear performed every 3 years.
