Such bad advice. Doctors in the US want to do surgery on everything - it makes them more money. In Germany doctors prescribe grape vine leaf extract (Vitis vinifera) for this problem. Doesn't make the doctors money, but it does work. Also, stocking can be useful until the leaf extract kicks in.
