Dr. Kue is obviously a knowledgable physician with a grasp of a variety of women's health issues, including proper and appropriate sleep-hygiene techniques. Thank you Dr. Kue.

Thank You!! Deep breathing and writing down my stressors on paper relieved some of the "over-thinking" and anxiety. I finally slept.

Thoughtful guideline from Johns Hopkins that is realistic and may help. The trick, as with any "training program" is to do it - so start with one of the recommendations and stay with it until it is a habit. Then add another. Developing a new habit or routine is difficult; a little chart or daily check list helps to keep the routine going. Then add others. I saw a quote once that stuck with me: "Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself." Might be fun to start and discover something about yourself. Good luck. From a Los Angeles trainer.

I like the simplicity and practicality of the advice. Am a psychologist and find that clients often get into vicious cycle of sleeplessness. Will try suggesting these steps. Personally, will consciously subtitute with decaf teas. Thank you

I'm only 17, but sometimes i'll go a couple weeks without a good nights sleep. Usualy i'm running-if i'm lucky-on about 5 hours of sleep. I'm definatly going to try some of these measures.

Skip the Melatonin, Rozerim & all that other garbage. Look for the Delta Sleep System cd's by Dr. Jeffrey Thompson and give them a chance. Jim
