I am currently learning about eating healthy after an exstensive drug addiction and fast paced lifestlye. I like fast foods and quick eats, but I don't want to create any internal situatons with myself that I may not be awre of. I haven't had ANY check-ups or blood work in the past 8 years. Do you think I may be at risk for any illnesses or ailments?

tamara, Based on your profile as stated above you would tend to be dehydrated , very toxic and more than likely lacking in vital minerals. suggestion would be to have your blood tested by a person who does life blood cell studies. I would think you are in a risk of numerous of factors. A persons body is an amazing thing that when put into the correct position can heal it's self. Eating healthy in todays world is not an easy task. Educate yourself, put a good plan together and stick with it. Good luck
