    I can see it now... people will start saying that they might as well skip the 'icky' vegetables because they aren't as healthy as we thought!!!! They'll opt for the drive-thru... faster, cheaper and more convenient!! OY!

    i being a medical doctor didn't much believe in nutritional supplements till late when I went through an experience which made me rethink my approach towards them. I stongly believe that in today's fast paced life one needs to supplement his/her diet with right type, read organic, of multivitamins& minerals and other antioxidants to counter the free radical damage most of us are exposed to.

    You make no distinction between veggies grown in greenhouses or hydroponicaly.But you sight chemical fertilizers.Just shows how very little you know about how crops are grown.organic food products are a huge scam.

    ASU is working with a clay that has extraordinarily high antibacterial properties. If used as a soil amendment could the plant pick these up as a compound to fight salmonella?
