I find that not only an exercise diary, but a diary of what I eat everyday keeps me a little more honest and not wanting to snack so much. Just an FYI.

I just started keeping an exercise diary last week and so far it's working. I set up my weekly/monthly goals and record my progress. This has definately lowered my "slacker" percentage. Also I created a reminder on my computer to check the diary daily; that help detour any goofing off with web surfing/downloading etc.
