I'm a kid and I believe eating heathly is good but the way you put it is kinda like dull. Give some fun repices so the kids wil know that eat heathly is fun. Tell them that you have more fun doing it. Yet let them know that eating junk food once in a while is ok. That's what I believe.

The majority of the food you put for snacks is high in sugar, which is one of the reasons why there are so many children with diabetes. Some other ideas for children is using real fruits and vegetables and cut them in fun shapes and sizes, and make a color or shape game. This will give the child lessons about color, shapes, plants and animals while they are eatting completely healthy. For children, and adults, the less processed the food, the better.

Children need to be taught to eat more often and portion sizes. Do not make them, Clean their plate...let them drink ALL through their meal..it won't ruin their appetite. Too many people eat when they are actually thirsty. The dried fruit and cereal bars...I would watch the sugar content. Remember, take the sugar and divide it by 4. This is how many teaspoons of sugar in that serving. Too much sugar is as we know not a good thing. Yours in health...

That's a good list. I'll use it for myself, since I'm still a growing teenager, and I'll use it when I someday have kids.

I have three boys I'm raising and I'm always trying to come up with good healthy foods to feed them. This is a great list but I think it's to short, add more choices to the list, we need variety.

i'm a kid and i love some of the stuff on that list! but i also love sugar and of sweets. so i mean parents don't expet your kids to only eat heathy stuff, even though trying to get them to eat good stuff is good.....
