When I have questions concerning my meds and cant get answers immediatly from the Dr.s office, my local pharmacy can usually answer all pertinent questions..They are quite knowlegeable people!

That's sound advice. I know that lots of people have lost weight on low carb diets, but the long-term effects are relatively unproven. As long as there's information about *both* the pros and the cons of these diets, people can make informed choices as to whether they want to start a low-carb diet or not. bodyblogger.com

I have been on the South Beach diet for 4 months now . I also have been exercising a lo. In addition to weight loss and looking fitter, I also feel more energized, my blood sugar and mood :-) swings are gone. I wonder if South Beach is considered a fad diet or a low-carb diet. I think I am eating plennty of carbs but mostly through fiber (veggies, bran etc). I wonder what people and professionals think about the diet. Thanks a lot!

Be careful of taking a diet. I have ever heard from a doctor that you are also able to take diet by "eating when you're really hungry and stop eating before you're full", especially if it is the first time for you to take a diet. "Stop eating before we're full" will be able to make us have a longer ages of life and prevent us from stomach-ache. Eating more vegetables and fruits and eating less meat. To help you in diet, you can drink tea. It helps you to make less your fat, but it's not suggested for you who have a kidney disease or have an anemia (shortage of blood).

well, contrary to what you may think, low-carb diets are far from a "fad diet". in fact, it is the low-fat diet that has been the fad, unfortunately bring obesity and diabetes to epidemic levels. i really wish that more people (and this includes nutritionists and doctors) had a basic understanding of nutrition and macronutrient consumption. it feels like most will resort to something they learned in college 20 years ago and can't cite any recent studies because the don't keep up to date on the chosen field. simply a disgrace.

It is my experience that running for 30 min a day (if you don not have time for more) will do the trick. You can do it just 45 times a week.

When toxins build up in your body, they accelerate premature aging. They also form a barrier that hinders weight loss. Unless you cleanse your body of these toxins, they will undermine your effort to lose weight. My mother refered me to this link for a product that help me cleanse my body and lose weight. http://www.shrinkteam.com/388886

I boil diet programs down to one question and they all lose when I ask it...."Can I do this the rest of my life"...The honest answer is always "No"!!!
