Be carefull about some of the facts posted about soy, especially if you are a women. Soy has been found to greatly increase the risk of breast cancer especially in a large population of women who are HER positive. Soy is banned from your diet if you have been diagnosed with cancer as one of the culprits causing it. Why would you want to add it to your diet to up the risk factor?? Much information has been written over the last 6 months to educate women to this fact and can be found at many of the breast cancer web sites and womens magazines..

Hello I have been taking soy products but mainly protein powder flavored for years. I found out if I eat red meat and other meats my body aches. The wonderful thing is that I have never had a HOT FLASH. That is the wonderful surprise included. I take Vanilla and I add water to make a paste the consistency of pudding . It is quite satisfying for desire to have something gooey .
I eat burgers and drink soymilk. I feel great no aches and pains at age 65.

40% of all Soy products are genetically modified and they are not labeled as such.
I love soy products and want to find non-modified organic sources. Got a clue?

Does this take into consideration the fact that some folks are allergic to Soy? With the preponderance of Soy in food, it's like a gastronomic minefield. Weight loss or hives? Svelte looks or bloated extremities? Which would you choose?

I love soy and I always feel like I'm eating healthier when I eat it. I don't like the idea of eating meat much anyway. Plus, they have really good pocket sandwiches made of soy at Vons as well as, yummy soy yogurt.

I try to eat healthy and watch my diet. I was going to a skin specialist and she told me to avoid soy products. Due to the fact that acne can be a cause of a hormonal imbalance and soy is equivalent to estrogen and she claimed that peanut butter was equivalent to testosterone and I should avoid that also. Has anyone ever heard that?
