I switched to using Extra Virgin Olive Oil for all of my oil needs a few months ago. Excellent flavor and much more healthy than some of the other oils out there. Rachel Ray is like nails on a chalkboard to me.

Since using olive oil exclusively and giving up butter and margarrine, I feel great. Has there been any studies to see if the olive tree sap, bark, roots, or leaves have medicinal benefits?

Your article was very informative and now know why my doctor wanted me to switch to Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The benefits are too good to not add this ingredient to your diet. Since my father has been a heart patient for several years, I was concerned that later on I too would be facing this health issue as well, especially since I take after my father.

Olive oil in any grade is great for the skin, hair, cooking, tanning, and whatever else you can think of. The best to use on your skin and hair (ethic people) is extra virgin, due to not a thick and doesn't leave a residue or grease stains. This will moisture you hair in any form it is in (natural or chemicals)!!!!! When cooking any olive will do---frying chicken tastes much crispier and juicy and stir veggies oh my goodness. Well good luck ladies and gents!!! DD in NC

I absolutely love Rachael Ray she is a wonderful person who is to be admired as she has worked very hard and made many sacrifices to reach her goals, I love her recipes, who doesn't want to eat healthy and get out of the kitchen faster!Since watching her show I have switched to EVOO also.

Can't stand Rachel Ray but have been an extra virgin olive for years. Have found that Racconto is the brand of choice for me.
