I truly don't understand the picky eater thing either. My stepson is picky, and his mother let him get away with this...eating cereal at 8:30 p.m. always tasted better than what was for dinner. Growing up at my house, you held your nose and gulped water to get down what you didn't like. But you ate it. I think I'm a much better eater overall thanks to my parents presenting me with many foods and making me eat them.

I totally agree with your article. Adults are the role model to a child, and mimic what adults do. Start a healthy eating habit when a child has juts started exploring foods. onece the child is not familiar with what they eat(junk unhealthy foods) they don't eat them at all, maybe try but not on their favourite list of foods. I admire your article and keep upa good job.

My grandchildren are between the ages of 5-12 and seem to always be hungry when they come to my house. I feed them a lot of food and drinks. They say an hour later they are still hungry. I dont know if they are not getting enought at home or what. What is the best foods or snacks I can give them that will really satisfy their appetite? Please bear in mind that at this age they are rather picky.
