My favorite on the go breakfast is a vitatop. They are preservative free, baked fresh muffin topsfull of fiber. I enjoy the sugar free banana nut flavor. The brownies are to die for. Healthy, filling and full of fiber, these are a sensible breakfast with coffee and fruit on the go.....

Better check the label. Last I knew Slimfast had around 30 grams of sugar. It takes 4 grams to make a teaspoon so a bit of quick math tells you that's 7 teaspoons! Maybe they've put out DIET Slimfast by now and instead of sugar you can load up on chemical sweetners.

One of my fave on the go breakfast is a couple of healthy choice multi grain waffles. I just toast them and eat them with nothing on like a piece of toast. The blueberry ones are real good. Also a yogurt smoothie and a banana are real filling. Lots of protein which really fills you. Also try a toasted multigrain english muffin with just a little peanut butter. When you get to your destination have a Stonyfield yogurt. Guarantee to fill you up till lunch.

A small amount of peanut butter on a slice of whole wheat bread plus an apple makes a great breakfast you can prepare the night before and take with you.

Also, you can look outside of the of the breakfeast realm in order to obtain a nutitious meal.

This also raises the point that all the 'shopping tips' concerning healthy eating are irrelevant to many of us who eat at home once or twice a month and eat out 95% of the time. You develop good restaurant selecting and menu-scanning skills. Airports are a real problem, over-priced fat laden, nutritionally deficient food. As you say the smaller items can cut down on the damage, an Egg Mcmuffin and coffee is often my choice. Also we often have long waits in airports, I only know of one, Singapore, that has a gym available.

I have multipal food allergys and find few diets-including the doctors-which allow for those and proper nutrition. Added problem is limited income, plus I am unable to stand for long, be it for cooking, prepairing, or clean up. Any suggestions?

WEll ,yes it might be healthier to eat a smaller item for less of fat, than eating a big bagle, but egg mcmuffins are 1/2 the size of a bagel. If you want to eat 2 muffins to fill yourself, youd be better sticking with the bagel.
