I hardly think that Spitzer suffers from a sexual compulsive disorder. He suffers from arrogance, idiocy, and a good dose of immorality. The prominent traits found in any scumbag. Those who claim it's a mental or sexual disorder to excuse their disgusting behaviors away shows you think there's validity for these demented behaviors to continue. Stop trying to deny the obvious: people can actually be an arrogant scumbag at the core of who they are. A 12 step program to humility and morals in Spitzer's pathetic life and a cell in jail to contemplate the error of his ways is more in line with finding him a cure to his alleged disorder. He's a scumbag. He should be treated like one.

From the author: It is reported that Eliot Spitzer had asked prostitutes to have unprotected sex ---------------------------------------------------- 95% of the time, that is uncovered oral the guy is looking for. The guy should be able to get that a home. But ?

Why do most (rich) men usually hire the services of high-priced prostitutes? MAYBE, they like to be able to express their sadistic or darker side in sex (sexual deviates), things they do not want to act out with their wives......

In my opinion some people feel that sex fulfills that missing attention from within their life and feels sex will comfort them or shelter them from thier fear of loneliness

"Why do most (rich) men usually hire the services of high-priced prostitutes? See, now you're just excusing it as acceptable. Now, you're just playing a whole 'nother ball field and implying that prostitutes are inanimate, violence deserving toys. Whether Spitzer harmed his wife physically or not, it doesn't rule out her emotional damage a public humiliation.

"In my opinion some people feel that sex fulfills that missing attention from within their life and feels sex will comfort them or shelter them from thier fear of loneliness" Possibly. But from a prostitute? There is no comfort in the possibility of acquiring an STD, no-strings-attached sex, or an already emotionally/mentally damaged partner.

#9 - You got it all wrong. I was not excusing "it" as acceptable. In fact, if you read my post carefully, you will notice that I was being sarcastic about it. It is a fact that there are sick men in this world. Those who cannot afford high-priced prostitutes lurk in dark corners and wait for unsuspecting women. There are also sick (rich) men who pay exorbitant prices to prostitutes to do their sadistic thing and keep their secrets. Unfortunately, some prostitutes keep mum about it to be able to continue the men's patronage. This is sad but true. For the record, It wasn't stated in my earlier post that I personally believe and treat prostitutes as inanimate, violence deserving toys, but sad to say, to some people, they are.

#10- Now, you're the one who look down on prostitutes. They're humans, too, capable of offering comfort, maybe not sexually but by just being there if a man wants to talk or unburden his problems, who knows......

#10- Actually, I disagree with prostitution. I disagree with degrading oneself to it. And yes, prostitutes are human and deserve more. I look down rather, on the people who buy the sex, and the prostitutes who escape the trade and return to it. I'm not saying they can't offer comfort, I'm suggesting that real comfort is in companionship, rather than in a short-term, paid visit, that is additionally a health risk. For it is a FACT that prostitutes are tested for STD's, but even so, there's a possibility of acquiring one because they aren't tested after EVERY customer. Results don't come back immediately. And, if research is honest, it is a fact that alot of prostitutes have emotional/mental damage. I wasn't making an assumption.
