Wow. You just verbalized exactly what eveyone thinks, but doesn't actually say. I completely agree.

Excellent entry, I heard we should talk more openly about recovery, and stop glamorizing it. It is NOT pretty, and people have no idea they are in active addiction and that they can get help. Recovery is a gift, and these people are very ill and should be left alone to get well.

Patrick, you are so right on the point, and I couldn't agree with you more. Maybe Heath did not "intentially" kill himself, but yes, the use and abuse of all those medications done that for him. It's sad. I also believe that he did, in fact have a sleeping problem, but all that medication that he was taking just made his "sleeping" and pretty much any other problem in his life so much worse.

I think this is a fair assessment of the 'accidental' behaviors we all read about in the news and witness in our personal lives.

Very true. I am buddhist and I believe that my life is in my own hands. If I knowingly resorted to potentially harmful behavior, it is my own fault if I died... not "an accident".

Hello Patrick Thank you for telling it like it is and being honest -- a great and, unfortunately, rare quality these days Bravo Rosanne
