Is it "rosacea" if your ear gets red and hot on occasion? The rest of my face doesn't. Only happens on one or both ears. What is that? It's not associated with what you listed when it happens. It just happens spontaneously without reason. I never blushed easily. This is a recent phenomena with my ears getting hot and turning red. My face is still very pale. My hands and feet are still very cold while it happens so I don't think I am flushing. It does puzzle me.

i have red irrated cheeks that tend to get worse from time to time and usually that time is when i eat spicy food, in the sun, etc.. just like you listed as common symptoms of rosacea. i have seen a dermatologist before and it took him many times to say" its rosacea" that was yrs ago! i have seen another doc since who said " sensitive skin." my question to you is i have all the symptoms (mildly) but i do not have enlarged blood vessels.. would do you think i have? if its rosacea then why havent any of the creams or things wked? i must have a mild case if i do have it, so you would think it would be easy to clear??

This is the first time I hear of " enlarged oil glands (which appear as yellowish bumps)" and I'm afraid I might be a candidate of this, could you give more details about this?

It is also worth mentioning that facial redness can be cause by many other triggers...also leaving you in a really uncomfortable and depressing state of living. For more help, visit http://facialredness.co.uk

It only happens in the colder months and mostly in the evening? I work outside alot and am exposed to wind and coldness. It seems like when my body warms up inside, it starts?
