#4 terry731@sbcglobal.net A person with eczema can use any product as long the skin is not broken or irritated. I would avoid products that contain alcohol. As long as the skin is not broken or irritated, you may find that the MicrodermAbrasion would help to alleviate the dry surface skin cells that cause itching. The key to treating this condition is to keeping the skin moisturized. Some products that I would recommend would include: Regeneration Extreme Repair for face and body - this is a great moisturizer containing ingredients that help to thicken the skin tissue to better retain hydration. Regeneration Extreme Repair hand therapy - forms a great moisture lock on the hands to keep skin hydrated Show of Hands Instant manicure- a great way to moisturize the hands that are void of hydration. Use Extreme Repair hand therapy afterwards to lock in moisture Therma Del Sol Olive Butter Balm - probably the best body moisturizer that we have for extremely dry skin. very comforting for skin irritations as well Therma Del Sol Detoxifying Bath Soak - great moisturizing benefits as well as helping to relieve irritated skin. SPA mineral bath - very good for relieving itchy skin A basic skin care regimen such as Skin Equations that has fewer ingredients Corticure Comfort Lotion - to relive itching and irritation Herbal Serenity Body Oil or Brown Sugar Body Oil - used in the shower to lock in moisture prior to towel drying Celiacs disease is a disease in which the body cannot process gluten, thus causing digestive disorders. Gluten is contained in ingredients such as wheat, oats, barley, and rye. Intolerance to gluten, however, is generally limited to products that are ingested, not those that are applied to the skin. If you are going to be in the sun and want to use a regular sunscreen in addtion to the spf in moisturizers, which do you use first- the sunscreen or moisturizer? Or is the sunscreen in the moisturizer and makeup enough?

#6 lpooler610 There are two types of sunscreens available, chemical sunscreens and physical sunscreens. Physical sunscreens pose no irritation, but can leave a white film on the skin. Because of this, they are typically used in foundation formulas rather than in skin treatments. Chemical sunscreen ingredients are ideal for skin treatment formulations because they are extremely effective and do not have the issues in regard to leaving a white residue on the skin’s surface. There is a drawback to chemical sunscreen ingredient, however. High levels of chemical sunscreens have a tendency to leave the skin somewhat oily as well as pose a risk for skin irritation. Many people who have more sensitive skin conditions, cannot use a chemical sunscreen at or or need to limit the use to small doses. There are theories circulating that the increase in skin sensitivity issues are multiplying due to the over use of chemical sunscreens. For this reason, we limit our SPF ingredients to one daily recommended product. Cell Block C AM will ensure that you are getting skin protection without the risk of complicating skin irritation issues by putting it in all of our leave-on products. We use the chemical sunscreen Parsol 1789 due to having the lowest record of skin irritation. For those who wish to add a more aggressive sun protection into their regimen, we offer the Skinlogics SPF Booster 30 . Margaret www.beautipage.com/MargaretJones

Hey here's a question I can't find the answer to: If I apply lots of sunscreen at 7.30 in the morning, am indoors all day, but spend my lunch hour, starting at 1.00 in the park am I covered?

Yes, without question she has stock in sun screen. Last time we learned that everyone should coat their entire body several times over every hour of every day regardless of whether they are inside or outside, but if that's not enough to get people buying new bottles of sunscreen now she helpfully points out that any bottle older than 6 months should be thrown away. You are a gem doctor.

Does the sun screen being a "sports cream" which isn't supposed to wash off easily make a difference in how long the protection lasts?

I still didn't see an explaination of the difference between chemical and physical sunscreens. Which one is the type we buy in a bottle and apply to the skin? Is chemical sunscreen a pill? How do I tell which on I have?

I don't buy the ozone layer has changed and that we are experiencing a different "sun" than our ancestors did. Lathering up with any of the comercial sunscreens is dangerous as they are totally loaded with chemicals and absorbed right through the skin. The vitamin D that you get from the sun is vitally important to reducing several cancers. Don't bake in the sun but don't run and cover up everytime the sun is out either like some people do.
