Great article! I have used Retin-A for year because of acne. It is a miracle drug if you ask me. I've had to stop because I am pregnant and can't wait to be done nursing so I can start using it again because my skin has gone down hill since ceasing use. Just a note though, it takes at least six months or so to see results with it, so be patient! Just stick to your regimine and you will be rewarded. It is not an expensive perscription to get, its actually much cheaper in perscription form than the weaker OTC forms, so if you have acne or wrinkles (my mom uses if for wrinkles and has been greatly impresses as well) just talk to your family doctor or dermatologist. You'll be glad you did.

Exciting new product! Can't wait for it to be locally available. When it comes to pimples, Differin works better than tretinoin. Tretinoin, on the other hand, seems to tackle wrinkles more effectively. Differin 0.3 will be heaven-sent for the mid age group who continue to get pimples since they will benefit from both its anti acne and anti wrinkle effects.

I use Tazorac and love it. Definately fewer wrinkles in less than a month. Start slowly though, for less iritation.

Dear Dr. Baumann, Thank you for your book it really helps! Based on the qustionnaire, I came out to be DPRT. My complexion I would say is medium dark, black. My skin problem has always been not having eventoned. Through out my body including my fact certain areas are darker. I also have freckles. When I was young, I used to dry a lot but now, age 36 and living in N. California, I don't dry a lot. Will still be under the category DPRT based on my skin explanations above? Help! Thanks.

After reading several testomonials from Made from Earth customers, I shelled out to purchase several products from their skin care line for both myself and my husband. Neither one of us have been very regimented in taking care of our skin. After just one treatment of Made from Earth's Detox & Renew Skin care set, our skin was left feeling soft and looking smooth. It has motivated us to treat our faces daily with Made from Earth products to maintain the rosy glow and can't-keep-your-hands-off-it softness. The Vitamin Enhanced Moisturizer has instant results and I would recommend it to anyone who has had less than expected results with other products. We are very satisfied with all the products from Made from Earth. This is one company whose name lives up to all the hype.
