UV Rays CAN go through glass, but most glass is treated so that it does not- especially in your car. How about busting the myth that burnt skin cells are sexy? Yay Victorian times, where pale was in!

This is insanity. Now we are supposed to be concerned about getting sun exposure while indoors? This woman is a lunatic! The God-given sun is GOOd FOR YOU!! Stop slathering chemicals all over your delicate little bodies, and enjoy all of the sun's benefits. Your skin is an organ, just like your liver and kidneys. the chemicals you drench it in are causing the most harm. Wackos like this doctor don't know why we get some diseases. The sunscreen and worry industries are a BIG BUSINESS. Stop whining about the sun! Don't lie naked in it for five hours, but good grief, an hour every couple of days is great!

RE: Myth No. 1 - Are you kidding, wearing sunscreen inside? Is absolutely NO sun exposure what you are really aiming for?? The sun really is not the big bad enemy that it's touted to be. I understand in your "community" this is the current ideology but really you are only telling people half the story and even that story is biased and full of misinformation.

Myth #1 :"the sun is bad for you." The sun cures depression. Of course it can burn you, but too much of anything is bad. Truth #1: Sunscreens are one of the causes of skin cancer, not the sun. Don't use them. Just cover up with loose billowy clothing if you have to spend a long time in the sun. It's worked for centuries.
