I've personally found that the best thing for dry skin is to supplement w/ Omega3 capsules. It took about a month to kick in but it's definitely made a difference.

Ive got 2 words for you, Hair...Conditioner. If you take squirt about 2 pea size drops of conditioner on your fingers and rub it on your face it helps dry skin ALOT! I use it often and I had very dry skin for the longest time and since I started puttin conditioner on my face is makes is smoother than any lotion I have ever used and It doesnt make the skin oily or shiny. It also help on dry or chapped lips, rub a dab on your lips and it basically feels like your lips are taking a BIG drink of water. I recommend that you DO NOT use the conditioners used specifically for Brunette, Blonde, or Red hair because there is a tiny pinch of dye in the shampoo but im not sure of the conditioner but I wouldnt take the chance of useing it on my face unless you want the hair on your face the same color as the hair on your head. Also I use the conditioner on my hands and sometimes on my arms. I have used the Mary Kay Satin Hands kit and Satin Lips kit and I think the conditioner is just as good if not better, Its also cheaper...:) Hope it works for you as well as it does for me!

In reply to ladybug, I would get a facial to start off with. The therapist would extract the blackheads and really cleanse your skin. They could also set you with a skin regimine. The products you mentioned are too heavy and pore clogging. Maybe your haidresser knows a good facialist in your area! Best wishes!
