It a shame you didn't go into more detail about the benefits of olive oil and also what skin types should and shouldn't use it.

I've read that Olive Oil eficacy is maintained in DARK containers. Look for them when purchasing.

You're trying to write an article about a generic kitchen staple as a skin-care product. I'd appreciate it if you at least attempted to remain impartial by not telling readers to purchase specific products from specific stores. I don't care how much you're getting paid, when you have an "M.D." attached to your name, people look to you for answers, not endorsements.

Great as a weekly conditioner too. Olive oil is amazing stuff. It may be more expensive, but it is worth it for added health benefits over other oils.

My husband made me start taking extra virgin olive oils baths along time ago, because i have psosiasis and it works great. He always new that olive oil is good for the skin. And my skin always feels silky smooth after taking the olive oil baths.

One thing that I have been doing for years that leaves my skin looking and feeling great is...olive oil mixed with brown sugar until its pasty..wet face..rub mixture all over face and washed off with washcloth in a circle motion...and wow..you will see the results immediatly !

The oil will clog the pores, prevent them from breathing, and sag the skin. Every out of school beautician knows that, in theory and in practice.

I've been putting EVOO on my face for about a year now. I didn't know I was so cutting edge. What I find nice is that the oil does not rub off on my pillow (how??) and my face is not oily in the morning. Go figure. I fill a small spray bottle (like a travel size) from my large kitchen bottle and squirt a few sprays in my hand, rub together, then apply to my face before bed.
