#1 Joellen1930 What are you currently using on your skin? For your face you should be using a good skin care regime to help with the dryness. What I think you need is a good skin care program. 1st a good cleaning each day to remove the dead skin cells. 2nd you need to add a toner to close the pores from the cleaner. 3rd you need a good moisturizer for dry skin and 4th you need to add a scrub to do some deep exfoliating. One you get that proces down then move on the some repair products which would help with the damage which had been done to your skin. Beauticontrol has some great products for Dry Skin, and I would be happy to tell you more about them. Margaret www.beautipage.com/margaretjones

What kind of allergy could cause the face to feel like it is burning and eyes to feel like they are going to pop out of my head? I have had every test imangible except allergy tests but my doctor does not think it is allergies even though he has no other answer.

Really glad that I read this article. I've been wondering about ingredients that irritated my skins. Now I know what I should watch for. By the way, how about fragrance? I've been noticing that every products containing fragrance make me itchy.

My skin allergy started when I used an imported lotion in my hands. Tiny nodules appears with water on it, itchy, with burning sensation, swelling red patches, as if burned by newly boiled water. It is so irritating and disgusting to look at. It looks like eczema, and it is recurrent. If I apply Dermovate cream it will disappear, without ugly scar. I noticed that whenever I'm stress it will reappear. Presently I'm using a moisturizing cream, to soothe my feeling of so much dryness on my hand. Hope this will recover completely.

Thanks for the info! This helps pinpoint my allergies a lot more. I've been diagnosed as allergic to sorbic acid years ago, along with a couple more things. But there were still things I'd react to that weren't on the list. This helped identify some of the other things and solve that mystery. Thanks!
