    Your recommendations are not organic or animal testing free. Some US animal testing requirements go back 80 years that have been ban in Europe for decades. In fact, some countries have ban animal testing period. I suggest you get with the program and educate yourself for the animals, the environment and the public.

    I don't agree with her comments at all. The skin around the eyes is different than the skin on your face and if you really want to treat the signs of aging around the eyes you need an eye cream made specifically for that area. And...toner is also necessary because it will balance the PH of your skin prior to adding moisturizer or make-up!!

    What about all the harsh chemicals and carcinogenic (parabens) in these products??? The best advice anyone can give, especially I would hope from a doctor, would be to use a skin care line that is 100% natural, toxin free. There are plenty of natural skin care lines out there....MyChelle for example is an awesome one! This is your face we are talking about, why would you settle for anything less?!?!

    Is Aveda skin care good as i have been told, or is it another expensive skin care line and not worth the money?

And remember just because you purchase something at a department store like Clinique or something doesn't make it any better - they are still full of chemicals and preservatives that are disgusting. Check your ingredients...did you know that "propelyne gycol" is used to de-grease Jet engines? It's just about in everything from soaps to lotions to OTC medications. This is your body we are talking about, why would you settle for anything less?!?!

    Sun screens do not protect from ALL harmful rays...their chemicals poison the liver and can also increase ones chances of having other skin problems. Toxins from our food and environment is what increases our chances of cancers. Eating a healthy diet, taking in filtered water, and high amounts of Antioxidants will give one better protection from against all cancers

    I personally have tried natural products for the face and they are terrible ! Maybe it was the brand I used but man it made me breakout hardcore and it made my face oily and slick. If anyone can reccomend a GOOD natural brand that is not more expensive than Clinique (what I use now) then I might switch over and see. :}

    My grandmother has used Pond's cold cream all of her adult life. Early 20's and on and her skin is so soft and smooth, she now has saggy skin, but then again she is almost 80. A $5 jar of cream. I guess it just shows that if you start out early taking care of your skin it will last.

    Thank you patsy.dee! A great skin care line that is environmentally conscious and the only beauty company manufacturing with "wind" energy - AVEDA! No animal testing here. Ingredients come from sustainable suppliers and certified organic. Wonderful products that are competitively priced and good for our skin.

    I think it is considerate that Dr. Baumann gives the public the thrifty way to treat our skin I am the kind of person who wants to know what is in a products before putting it in me and on me. So for me quality is most important. There are high quality products that last a long time and in turn are cost effective.
