Good article, but one criticism, SkinCeuticals Sports UV Defence SPF45 is not an all-physical sunscreen, it contains chemical filters as well. Active Ingredients: Octyl Methoxycinnamate Zinc Oxide (Z-Cote HP1) Octyl Salicylate Benzophenone-3. As you can see, zinc oxide is the only physical filter and the other 2 are chemical.

Thanks... I'll check the ingredients from now on. I've had a problem with my eyes watering all day after applying sunscreen, making me miserable (on vacation!). When I asked my dermatologist, she dismissed the problem. My eyes don't sting, really, but clearly something in the sunscreen irritates them, and it doesn't just wash out once it gets in them.

DHC offers a wonderful white sunscreen that is purely physical protection. It never irritates my fair, sensitive skin. All of DHC skincare is wonderful. www.DHCcare.com

Thankyou very much! I've got very sensitive skin, but being a redhead with fair skin means that I have to wear sunscreen. Usually a sunscreen would work for me for about two applications, then would cause a rash the next time. Thankyou for the information about there being chemical and physical sunscreens- I've almost run out of brands to try, and was wondering what to look for in the contents!
