Saying about the scars left by surgery and acne is all very wel because i'm sure that there's alot of people that this blog has helped, but you seem to have missed out the scars left by self harm, I self-harmed for just over two years and by the time that I stopped and actually saw the mess that I'd made of my arm and part of my chest made me feel really ashamed and self-concious about it and as a result I hav'nt left my home without anything that does'nt come down to my wrist's. Is there anthing that any-one can suggest?

After fertility treatments and during pregnancies, dark brown spots appeared on my face that get darker when in the sun. One starts at my hairline, extends downward approximately 1.5 inches and continues across the width of my forehead. The second one is over the right side of my upper lip and the third spot is on my right temple. I have very sensitive skin and a fair complextion with a lot of redness. These spots are very visible and embarassing. What do you recommend for treatment?

No it did not help me due to my skin condition. I have chicken pox marks on my face, I have had them since I was three years old and I really don't think I will ever get rid of them. I am currently wearing make-up but it doesn't cover my pox marks.

I am a 32 year old mom with an 8 year old daughter. My first pregnacy was great, I got back to normal size with no stretch marks. I had had an abortion however around my daughter's 4th b-day. I cared the baby for a soon to be almost 5mo, however during this time I started getting facial hairs on my chin. Now 4 years later I am still battling this problem. I pick and pluck which sometimes makes matters worse especially if a hair get lodged growing back and I often have to dig to get to the root of the hair bumb. I've tried waxing and nair to and still I sometimes end up with a hair bumb then scars that I am constantly trying to vanish. Please help! Is there a hormone pill to save me?

Hello, i have a few acne scars, mainly around mouth and side of face, They are quite visable and i am looking for ways to help them to fade iff not dissapear? i also still get spots that are quite inflamed aroud the same area's and have a puss liquid that is a greeny colour and take a while to heal. I also have the dark scars from sores or wounds that i would like to fade, I do take vitamin c but that doesn't seem to be doing anything for them, Have you any advice for my acne and the scars as they affect my daily confidence as i have to try and cover them. Many thanks Samantha Baker, warrington cheshire samb052003@yahoo.co.uk
