I have always gotten compliments on my skin. I don't wash my face with anything that a bar of soap in the shower. I shave with the same soap, and I use ZERO skin care products. If I have dry skin I put some olive oil on. Skin care is an industry and much of it does nothing but slowly poison you.

I found the article informative especially the part about co-enzyme Q10 for skin. and the part about the use of Statins lessening the amount of the enzyme . I will be sure to invest in some Co enzyme Q10. Thanks vtec

You should really look into Arbonne. Their products are top of the line and we have an awesome anti-aging line. Take a look at the Arbonne difference and see why it's better than Oil of Olay, Mary Kay, etc... don't forget to look at before and after pictures. A lot of people are surprised at the price. BUT buy it when they find out a set will last about 7-8 months on average. You can sign up as a wholesale buyer and pay about 91 cents a day. Good stuff I'm telling you. :o) http://purelyvibrant.myarbonne.com/

When I was in my forties, I noticed some spider veins, and just before I turned 50, I started getting rosacea papules and pustules. Would you please address this problem also? It's not the same as acne, so you can't treat it with the same products. A lot of women develop this condition. Thanks!

Which estrogen cream preparation is best for skin? I see various opinions on this.... also, is the new plasma gas technology even more effective than Fraxel?

I have been using many of the Arbonne products and have seen great results. They are pure, safe and beneficial for my skin (I am in my late 30's) as well as for my friends and family of all ages. They are all natural and have a number of different product lines for everyone to choose from. Arbonne can only be purchased through independent consultants. Go to http://www.purehealth.myarbonne.com/ for more product information.

What kind of retinoids do you mean, for the 20s and 30s? I use RX Retin-A, when I started about 10 years ago it dried my skin and I got serious pimples and swelling from casual sun exposure (ir really taks off the outer layer of skin),sunscreen doubly important with these products, but now I've developed a routine, also using Alpha Hydroxy Acid and a simple Olay microdermabrasion kit on alternate days. I look at least 12-15 years younger than my age based on people's guesses. You mention a lot of treatments starting in the 20s and imply everyone should use Botox? I find getting rid of dead skin before you get wrinkles and sun spots is better than a fortune on creams and treatments -- at least you have the right emphasis on prevention.

You should look into Arbonne. Best anti aging skin care I've found. Also, they have a supplement with flaxseed and CoQ10 which also helps the skin.
