My parents told me something when I got my first job 30 years ago. Don't play where you draw your pay. I've lived by that creed ever since and have made some wonderful friends over the years.

this is to respond to lordiceinoz. unless you want to die unmarried, and if you don't marry in school (which is more than most people would do) and don't date in work, how are you ever going to find a husband?! I have 2 questions for you - are you married and if you are, how did you two meet?

@ Lizsawers, First , if love is real, you can't fall into it at work without having a scar. How about the bruises you'll put on co-workers, people that just want to have the weeks pay to have bills paid; to survive. If you dont consider those people, thats selfish, love isnt selfish..sex@ work? fine

Additionally...two co-workers' break-up is a drama at work. But two co-workers sex at work is a scandal....that type of scandal the boss himself or herself will like to do......I swear, everyone want to do it, but how won't you get catch?...how will you control the addiction of the adrenalin rush

My husband and I met at work and have been married for almost 12 years. We also have 4 great kids!! I truly believe that we were meant to be together so if it had been a problem at work I would have quit. The things we do for love :)

No way would I attempt an office romance. You have to deal enough drama at work. Besides,if I had to choose between my career and reputation and a man,I'd choose my rep.

I'm all for dating in the work place, if you do it right. You get to see the person in a different light, other than da club. I met my husband in the workplace 2yrs ago and it's still going strong and we still work for the same company! Office romance is bliss!

Been there done that (with one person for several years). Would highly recommend NOT fishing off the company pier. Better to keep professional life and private life separate. I can say with NO reservation, I’LL NEVER DO IT AGAIN!!!

Here's a good idea. No office or workplace romance. When he or she quits and you still want to find out if you have more in common - go for it. Still working together? Don't put yourself through it.
