I see that most of you think that this is dumb "no brainer" advise. But, unless or until it happens to you it is not as obvoius as it seems when you trust your spouse and think that it would never happen in your marriage. It is easy to overlook the all things when you have trust in your partner. Believe me, I slapped my self in the head and said, "how could I have missed all that!!"

Well as a person that has been cheated on all the above signs were not there. His Job always had him working odd hours, computers are his job. Appearance I don't think a woman coming up to a guy in a bar actually cares what they look like if all they want is sex!! So not helpful to me I am afraid. He also has a daughter from his affair so i was totally blinded!!!!

It always takes me a long time at the store. Be it my memory, running into problems, getting more stuff on whim than I set out for, looking for bargains, etc. I always take a long time and my wife always comments on how long it takes me. That however, does not mean that I am cheeting! Times DO come up that guys have to work late at the J.O.B. and that does NOT mean that we are cheating either. Often times, that means that we can now put gas in that big *ss SUV that you women insist on driving! I am in my early thirties and I have found that my metabolism has SLOWED down in the past couple of years. Unfortunately I actually feel guilty when trying to work out and lose weight because I don't want my wife to think I'm cheating. That is F*CKED UP! I shouldn't feel that way at all. Just because we are concerned about our appearance "all of a sudden" doesn't mean we are cheating. The trigger for an appearance change could be as simple as seeing an old friend or relative that comments on how fat you have gotten since the last time they saw you.

    (7. Posted by Hybrid66 on Tue, Jul 29, 2008, 12:56 am PDT More signs: - New "moves" during sex - Accusations from your partner about you cheating - Extroardinary defensiveness at the slightest question of fidelity - Frequent visits to clubs, parties, etc. without you Not that I'm speaking from experience or anything...) *-note to Hybrid66..... All that happened to you too-huh??? How about the call home from a business related road trip where gynocologist and "pajama party with the girls" are mentioned in the same conversation - Do we smell abortion??

Even if all that stuff were true. Do you think that there is one man out there that will be honest enough to admit that he's had an affair? Most would never do that. They would deny it from the beginning. Even if you have the proof in your hands, they are still going to deny it. They will always find some sort of excuse for their affair. It's night right, but that's what they do.

I think she's right. I've been lonely without intamacy for years. It hurts! Getting the "Big O" isn't as important as just wanting to be wanted. An affair doesn't have to be about sex only, even though sex can motivate an affair. I don't view the affair as cheating as long as intimacy from my wife is denied or extremely infrequent. I actually treat my wife better now that I don't have to ressent her lack of intimacy.

Do a search on the internet for "male bashing" and you will see it's more socially acceptable than "female bashing." For some reason, writers, talk show hosts and even doctors feel it's necessary to keep things one-sided and anti-male to keep people's attention. Why not write a story like "3 signs your wife is spending all your money." or "3 signs your wife thinks less of you because of some stupid article on the internet!" And I used to think writing, journalism and medicine were supposed to be objective professions.

People please don't listen to these signs from Dr. Berman. These things can happen and it doesn't mean that your Man is cheating. You can't accuse someone of cheating just because they're trying to look better for you, or if they've been away at the store too long. A more obvious sign of cheating would be if they are taking trips without you of course, and you are unable to reach them by cell...

Sounds like she had to fill up space today. Kind of a "duh." What caught my eye was all the "it COULD be a sign" in all three. Well, you're right, it COULD, MIGHT, MAYBE. These are not necassarily "signs," these are hypotheticals. What's wrong with someone getting in shape, buying some new clothes, etc? That means you're cheating?!
