I dont Miley did anything wrong. She had her parents there with her and Im sure assumed ifthe pictures werent appropriate than her parents would have stepped in. I believe she is a very sincere girl that has a soft heart and she shouldnt be shined on just for making one mistake.

seduction, vulnerability, blame, shame, innocence exploited. Soft core kiddie porn goes mainstream. Vanity Fair should have said ,come back when you are of legal age, kiddo.

I wasn't startled. I didn't think thay were that sexual. This is rediculous. She has been a lot less dressed in public at awards shows. Give me a break.

Take a look at any high school in America and you'll see "racier" attire than what was shown in Miley's pictures. People can't have it both ways. Americans are supposed to be tolerant of diversity and accepting of all people and cultures no matter what. We're told to celebrate the diversity. Then in the same breath, the same people condemn Miley for expressing herself. Which way do you want it? Are we supposed to be tolerant and celebrate her freedom of expression or are we supposed to be outraged at the exploitation of a 15 year old girl? The politcal correctness movement has moved this country so far from being tolerant that it's not funny. Politcal correctness doesn't try to celebrate diversity, it tries to remove it. How can we celebrate another race or culture if we can't even acknowledge it without being called a racist, homophobe, or some other label? I was watching the local news and the police were seeking the public's help in locating a rape suspect. The local news refused to air the suspect's race! That might be helpful in locating the suspect! If your suspect is white, you can eliminate the black people right from the start and vice versa. But the station is so afraid of being labeled racist that their news is worthless. Instead we're supposed to be looking for a male in his twenties. That narrows it down a lot. What a joke! Personally, I believe the parents are ultimately are responsible...or irresponsible. What else would you expect from Miley? She's been exploited by her parents, Disney, and every other entity in her life. This is what she knows. She's been an exploited child for quite some time and now we're supposed to be surprised when she gets exploited once again? I feel sorry for a young girl that's been "used" by the very people that shoud be protecting her and have her best interest in mind. She's got enough money to last her a lifetime. Get her out of the spotlight and let her start living her life. I hope this beautiful young lady will someday rise above the people that have treated her this way and truly finds happiness.

The only photo I saw was of her with a sheet around her and her back is exposed. You see more than that on the beach. It really is not revealing at all. The only strange thing I noticed in the Vanity Fair piece was her father looks like he's trying to be her boyfriend. I'd be more worried about that than seeing her back. I am sure no one forced her to pose for the photos since you have to sign a release before they start shooting.

Miley IS a role model for VERY young girls. We are not worried about how she compares to other 15 year olds or the effect she will have other 15 year olds. As far as diversity, to have a young female role model who is NOT playing sex kitten would be creating diversity. Problem is that young starlets that ARE good role models, seem to be scarce.

I really agree with the part of this article that talks about what she was wearing, or lack there of. However, I do not think that the author, whoever that may be, has the right to judge in the way they did. Yes, Miley and her family claim to be strong in thier faith, but who in their right mind, would have the nerve to judge their parenting. Thats just immature, and you have no place to speak like that. All parents mess up, its not your job to point it out, just because they are famous. On top of that, you definately have no place to talk about sex-lives, when clearly, a few images from a photoshoot will not predict thier whole sexual experiences as a young teenager. Over all, I do not think that this article helped me, and it most definately did not sway me to believe all the nonsense that adds up to nothing. :)
