This has to be the most shameless promotion of the Nintendo Wii I have seen thus far. As an avid gamer I feel that I would know better than someone that isn't that video games have very little to do with intimate relations between people. Increase your libido because the Wii makes you move your body instead of sitting down to play that is just a load of promotional bull. Here's an idea get off your lazy behind go to the mall and buy some simple hand weights and start with those to improve your body not buy an overly expensive gimmick machine like the Wii. Anyhow what the heck happened to taking a romantic walk while holding hands or actually going out to play golf or do something that is otherwise physical for a date? The day I suggest to a woman let's stay in the house and play on some silly Nintendo Wii system to basically get in the mood so to speak is the day I really don't need a woman anymore.

Actually...sex is about intimacy and physical need but it is also about FUN. Why not play a video game with your partner and add sexual favors to it? For example, if a partner wins a round of the game, then they have to perform a certain sexual favor for 10 seconds...then get back to the game...lol

It is apparent that Coolbreeze has a personal vendetta against Wii. I agree it is over-rated; but when you want a nice night in, an interactive game creates more laughter and excitement than any stationary game. Keeping it simple and throwing in competition adds adrenaline to an evening in front of the TV. Ask any couple that has been together for a long time who own a Wii and they will agree with this article. It sure beats one partner watching the other play yet another RPG!

We have the TV on every night, I just jump up in the commericial breaks and do a some shoulder shimmys and a little bump and grind when ever there is some exciting music. It makes us laugh!

OK, I can admit that the Wii might be better than other systems if one can be physically active, and can offer a fun night in. BUT I can't see it promoting intimacy much and I can see it becoming yet one more thing at home to take away from time spent together for real intimacy, like direct conversation without distractions, a meal together, a bath or walk or dancing together, where all attention is focused cooperatively on each other. Video games promote competition, and is indirect interaction. In today's busy world, couples need to spend more time focused on each other, not more time on yet another distraction that takes the focus off real, direct communication and interaction.

Truthfully I'm a video game junkie. I play old video games like Galaga, Pac Man, WWF Arcade, Mario Brothers, Zelda, and Tetris. Video games takes out all my anger and stress. Video games are now mindblowing in this era. Call of Duty 4, is an intense video game. I spend three hours a day shooting people and earning medals. Sounds violent, but the game gives me freedom.

It's great that some of us can find activity (physical and mental) in video games. To relate them to intimacy with your spouse is a little out there, however. You could relate any physical activity to better health. Who cares about what it does to your "sex life". Intimacy is a personal issue with your spouse that need not be displayed in a BLOG. If you are not already enjoying your time together, there is obviously an issue(s). Wii will not fix something for you. You must do it for yourselves. It may only bring more fun for you both in your spare time.
