This article is entirely mislabled. It should be more along the lines of 'physical activity with your partner aids the libido'. Don't advertise...

"I have never been a fan of video games. I always believed they turn people's brains into mush and create inactive, unhealthy children." At least your honest, even if you're biased, and wrong.

A lot of things have gotten me in the mood over the years including just snuggling on the couch during just about any movie or even a football game, but playing a video game. Who is this supposed to get hot and bothered? Teenagers; they don't need any help. I suggest anything from feeding each other popcorn to a teasing soft pillow fight while watching TV over this ridiculous notion.

Wii is awesome, I agree, but a few things need clarified. It doesn't necessarily require physical activity to play every game, and even the games that do require movement do not require real exercise or physical exertion (although some people do get carried away.) Also, ALL video games are interactive--motions you make in real life are reflected by characters on the screen and are used to control their onscreen actions and the progress of the game. That's the point of video games. As far as turning brains to mush, I don't think they are any worse than reality television.

I have never really been into games but I do believe that being intimate is NOT supposed to be boring so why not add a game or two in it.....whether it's Wii, xbox, PS3,....it can even be an atari...when it comes to trying out new things to spice things up a bit I'M GAME!!!

I hate all these retarted f**kin entries relating quality of life and marriage to a Wii gaming system or the idea of a woman holding sex over a man's head in regards to how much housework he does when he gets home from work. All the power to you "Dr" Laura Berman..but i cant beleive your getting a paycheck for this headache inducing crap.....Id do housework just cause im cool like that....but i get sex..when i want sex....or i wouldnt be married...

I'm only using this account for anomousity. But the first paragraph is both biased and stupid. Why don't you actually learn how to play a PlayStation, or a Xbox...? Oh, because you think those who play video games are kids, and that they become stupid? Psh, whatever girl. I write for a gaming website, go to college, have a life outside of gaming, I read news everyday, I pick up a newspaper. You know what? You're full of it.

And by the way, instead of insulting your readers, learn to back your statements with facts.

We have been married for 23 years. My hubby and I play our Wii every evening. It has been very possitive for our relationship and our health..... I think your friend should tryed Wii in the nude... Her husband should get a kick out of that.... mine loves it....

I do not believe the wii or any other game system will promote sex in a relationship. While it does give couples something cheap to do together, it is definately not sex. By the time the game is over, most people are ready for bed, to sleep, because they only have a few precious hours before its time to get up for the real world. I think video games take up libido because the energy for sex is spent on the game.
