Telling your kids that having sex will kill you is a bad decision.I was really good and a virgin untill I was 20 to a guy I was dating for a year. My mom's friend told me that sex would kill me and I was constantly worried, on edge, moody, and ashamed that I had made the wrong decision. Fortunately, I realized that that was my choice and I was on birth control and used a condom, and feeling ashamed was wasting my energy. Parents don't realize that we need to learn ourselves and not go to extremes. My mom taught me to be as safe as possible and i'm a 20 year old making good decisions as a sophomore in college. Let's be realistic here, telling your kids to be angels will only make that not tell you things.
