I need to do this, I have been married for 25 years and sometimes I hate my husband. I want a 250,000 dollar house,land, and pickup. I should be grateful for my 3 beautiful children,my house we almost own,it needs work. He works everyday usually two jobs, but i get tired of not mowed grass,always working on broken down work trucks or vans,no vacations, and all these stupid yuppie people in this town going aroung with their pull. Like they own the whole schools,stores, and town. I get frustrated so I take it out on him, my husband,I do love him. Renee

as far as tried-and-true advice, i think it is also important to be sure and spend time AWAY from your spouse. absence makes the heart grow fonder! great advice dr berman!

Dr. Berman is so right..i have been with my husband for 14 years since we were only 17. married for 8 years soon and our love grows more and more each day. we communicate about everything, including how we both want it sexually. we also spend time together alone, watching tv while he's massaging my feet and have dinner with our 3 kids. we don't travel much because of financial issues but we do just go for a walk, holding hands. people used to say that it was just puppy love back then and now when our old friends, some who have so many kids with different partners and a few that have already been divorced a couple of times would asked for advice. When we wake up in the morning, we look at each other and give each other a smile. Sometimes we'll fix each other a bath or buy each other a candy bar (we both love chocolate). It's not the expensive things in life to please your partner or be pleased, it's the little things in life that you do for them. There are times that I may not be in the mood or he may not be in the mood but we give in to each other anyway. I don't go out much and he doesn't either. Believe it or not, we had 2 major arguements through this whole relationship. One lasted about 5 hours of not talking and the other lasted 1/2 an hour. We don't like to argue with each other, I believe that I have truly found my soulmate. When I come home or vice versa, it's a smile that we get from each other added by a kiss. Our kids even laugh at us when we have a disagreement because it will last for about 5 seconds and we're laughing it off. For our 5th anniversary, we had our names tatooed on our wedding ring fingers and took off our rings. For our 10th, we had our names put on each wrists. For my birthday, he had my face tattooed on his entire back. I truly love my husband and I will move heaven and earth for him.

ACTIONS speak louder than WORDS in our relationship,But my man does verbally tell me THANK YOU,and i love you,kisses me and hugs me everyday before he leaves for work. Sometimes i get a goodnight kiss also. I hug and kiss him anytime i want to. Great advice though dr.

Oooh Flippy ur relationship is so fairytail. 2 arguements out of the whole relationship wow. Amazing, but I love it. I been in a 8 month relationship and I love him sooo much. It started so strong that I'm pregnant. Wow. So were learning eachother still. I discovered alot of anger in him and I'm very gentle so we'll have to even that out, he's ready to compromise. I feel only the Lord can help us with that. Also my son thats the only child is disturbing his only son, so he sais, 'cause my son is selfish with games and simple things kids fight over. To me its not a big deal but to him it's the world. Besides the selfishness in my baby our relationship is the bomb. Thats bad 'caus my son is the world to me over any perfect relation. He sais "disipline him or don't bring him around 'cause I will". I say why me? I need help. I'm pregnant 1, and also love him to death 2. I know I should have waited b4 becoming prenated, but anyway great advice, hope I did'nt go too far off the subject. He went away and b4 leaving told me he didn't have to say I love u all the time but when he left he started to tell me in all 6 convos we had, so going away or seperating for a while do make it a little better for some people. I'd rather have him stay here and say it when he felt 'cause I miss him bad. It'a been 3 days. Later :)

Just to clarify myself in the 6 times a day we speak he tells me he love me, when b4 he went away it was 2wice a week . Yes, a little seperation made him sensative, and I will disapline my son , but the problem is what if it don't work, will I lose my lover over my child, that hurts. :(

Tips: Long hugs, just hold on. Don't go to bed angry Communication The Lord ofcourse Keeping urself fresh. Very important. And last but not least, knowing ur worth. Never put a man b4 ur or ya'll kids. "Don't need that advice".
