I really love that line. "Stop blaming your partner or thinking about what you lack and take charge of the only thing you can - yourself!" So true. How many people try to blame or change their partners instead of putting the blame or change where it needs to go..ultimately with themselves. Just take responsibilty for your actions. Stop blaming others for what you have done.

#1... unsatisfied... I agree, it's important to remember that we can only fix ourselves!! I also like: "Whether a misdeed from long ago or a current-life annoyance, forgiveness frees up your energy for a happier life." Hanging onto past anger doesn't hurt anyone but yourself... some people get STUCK in their past anger and can't move forward.

One thing I like that Laura brought up is “getting skinny again.” I find, however, if you want your girlfriend to be skinny in spring you need to start in the winter. I put my girlfriend on a rigorous diet and workout routine right after Thanksgiving. I try to weigh her on a daily basis (although travel and work sometimes get in the way) and I like to praise her when her BMI drops. Something you ladies may want to think about – I like to give a call home to my girlfriend when I leave work so that she can know she can get showered up and be nice and clean for when I get home… just a thought, but I know your boyfriends and husbands will appreciate it!

#9 do you keep your girlfriend on a leash when you go out for a walk too?? teach her tricks and reward her with treats?? **no offense intended to your poor girlfriend, but then you probably don't let her do blogs so she wouldn't see my comment** OMG!! Something we ladies would think about for Spring would be some good ol' Spring Cleaning, and I bet you'd be at the bottom of the dustpile real fast! Any guy tried to put me on a diet or weigh me daily, aside from my doctor, would lose weight themselves really fast - namely their nuts! Guess that's why I live alone - my house is MY castle, my body is MY temple, and if I choose to share either then buddy better feel priveleged!

WWWind, #10. I felt the same way about #9. He is abusive and controlling as can be and I can't believe a woman has anything to do with him.
