Are you serious? You're going to burn fat in a 12 to 15 minute exercise? Yea right. Your body has plenty of energy on hand to keep you going through that. It'll just stock up the next time you snack. The only guarentee on weight loss is reducing intake. If I run for 5 miles, then eat a box of dougnuts, I'll still gain weight. And trust me, I run 5 miles a day. I still have to watch what I eat or the weight goes up. Translation: It's all about intake.

Very good info... Id also like to add some info about the 4 worst things you can eat. They are: 1. Anything with hydrogenated (or partially hydrogenated) oils - these are trans fats 2. High fructose corn syrup - goes right to the midsection. Pay attention to foods that say fat free, a lot of these have this ingredient in them. 3. high levels of sugar - if sugar is one of the first five ingredients on the label, dont eat it! 4. enriched unbleached white flour (refined flour) - the worst kind of flour you can eat, it just builds fat. Eat whole wheat flour, it gives you the fiber and energy you need. Above all, read your labels at the store... you will be surprised just how many foods you thought were healthy really aren't!

Lots of myth and lots of misunderstandings! NO food "goes directly to the midsection" and is does not matter what fuelmix you burn under- and after excersize! In terms of reducing ones fatmass the ONLY thing that truly matters is the question of energy balance! If you take in more calories than you use, you GAIN fat, - if you take in less, you LOSE fat! End of story, - the rest is dietmyth from womans magazines, misunderstandings and vodoo, - and like religion it´s nonsense and has nothing to do with reality. And the quality and healthiness of the food you eat have NOTHING to do with whether you gain or lose fat. Eating healthy is a great idea, but it has nothing to do with fatloss!

Uh, don't hurt your body. Push it, don't overtax it. Your body will adapt to the regimen you put it through if you are the least bit realistic. You can't do it (get fit) in one week! 'Think fitness' and back it up with action. If you're not regularly active enough to burn the foods you eat, then eat less of the foods and replace with supplements.

i don't think people who are overweight/obese need to add a weighted vest to their workout. maybe people who are already in shape and need the extra challenge to keep it off might. those exceeding a healthy weight range, they just may be asking for heart attack. i think they should do their weight resistance training separate from their cardio workouts until they get more physically fit. the other suggestion i would make is using a smaller fork and smaller plate. that way you are taking smaller bites, chewing your food a little more thoroughly, and taking less food on your plate. ultimately, everyone should slow down the pace of their eating as much as possible and not act like they are in a race to the finish line when they sit down to a meal. the biggest mistake I see people make is that they don't chew their food slowly enough for it to digest. it's not air to be inhaled. it's food. chew on it for awhile.

Wonderful advice, it works! Reduce calories and resistance exercise ( Super Slow Zone ) twice a week I have lost a lot and need to lose a few more, but it works.
