Well I don't know what that comment has to do with the story above either but, I'm alone this holiday also, wife and I separated just before Thanksgiving. Why is it that couples just can't get along anymore especially around the holidays? We were apart last season also. The holidays just aren't what they used to be for me anymore. They just remind me of sad time. But thanks for the article anyway.

Im not really lonely. I have too many people who love me. I am single but just going through alot in this season of my life. I think it is one of the hardest seasons and times to be face with so much. So I have to think positive....that if or when I make it through this...it will make me a stronger person. I think you have some great advice. Thanks,

To mygrace and grttwentyeight: I agree Christmas is NOT what it USED to be We used to be CHILDREN! Christmas is IN YOUR HEART! Ive been single for 7 years now, date sometime, but , yes it IS a very hard holiday, but i also have many friends who show me the true SPIRIT of the Season. Christmas is in YOUR HEART 24/7. and if its NOT, its not going to be on the ACTUAL date, either. I try living Christmas 24/7, and its more blessed to GIVE , even when you dont have a whole lot to give, you can STILL give your heart!

Regards to #8,thesweeteststar: Good points. I am also single, for awhile now. Yes, it's hard, especially at the holidays. I love the social get togethers, and comrodery. It's the laughter and loving spirit that are important. Have an awesome Christmas everyone!

Is this writer not really hot? Is it just me? Anyone know how old he is? I would like to "be" with him over the holidays.

Did this article just have an ad for a navigation system hidden in it? How pathetic is that?

Watch Hitch [profane]#39;s The Birds and feel better about yourself. Remember: Things could be worse. You could have thousands of seagulls trying to peck your eyes out.
