No, no, no. Men do not like subtle hints. Men like direct communications. If you want him to lose weight, tell him. But be prepared for his take on what's wrong with your appearance.

That is so true. when a guy is clean and neat it makes you just wont to jump his bones, but when they look ruff it make you wont to say hay do you realize how you look and you wont me to be turned on by that.

As a "typical guy", how valid are these suggestions if it's the man trying to get his woman to take care of herself?

You need to shut up David- It's not up to a woman to keep her man looking good. If the man's looks are that much of an issue than maybe she shouldn't even be concerned with committing to a relationship. Sooner or later both parties of the relationship are going to have their physical appearances fly south for the winter, and that's okay. Relationships shouldn't be based on superficial qualities. People should work out to stay healthy, if it helps to work out with your partner than that's great, but is your pure motivation is to keep an attraction in the relationship than your relationship is doomed from the start. However, that's okay as well because hey- You can just looks up another one on David (Douche Bag) Zinczenko's "helpful" articles on how to end your pathetic life, and do everyone on earth a favor.
