This all sounds realistic. I think i will try keeping up the fact of " stroking his ego." I am guessing that may be the reason why i feel he is straying. I really wouldn't want him to go off with someone else because i didn't make his ego feel wonderful. Our sexual life needs to be more exiting i know this for sure. He does it fine just he needs the exitment. I guess this is why you are most turned on the first time when you are with your partner.

I think you left out here that, just as women have their emotional needs (the need to feel needed), one of men's greatest needs is to feel that he is honored and respected, not put down. My husband feels proud whenever I speak highly of him in front of other people. What he hates is if I were ever to say anything to embarrass him in front of his friends.
