Maybe the easiest way to find the perfect person is to stop looking, because we tend to overlook when we look too hard. I agree with the confidence bit, the best thing has got to be a middle ground (unless the girl's looking for a totalitarian relationship or a kind that she's the man of the house--personally, I want to be in control of some things, but taken care of for other things.) As for the future bit, perhaps it's not always on "how they'll be a parent." I'd say more like "do they have the potential to not be living on my paycheck to paycheck." Don't get me wrong, I'd love to take care of my guy, but I don't want him living off of me like a kid does. For the juggling work and play part: it's appealing when they can juggle it all nicely; when they're on top of things. When they seem to be lagging or when their work seems to be catching up with them, that's when it's that "you're not right for me" part.

#5,8: You may find that humorous, but other people may not and may take it seriously. If you work there, not only are you jeopardizing your job, but your coworkers' jobs as well. Patients go there to seek help, but if you're taking advantage of them, not only is it unethical, it's illegal, especially if you took advantage of a minor. Don't think you're anonymous here. It's easy to track you down and investigate. Even if half the stuff you posted are lies, there's some truth in what you say simply because you are basing it on something you know but are keeping it a secret. Fifteen minutes in a bathroom stall, eh? Looks like you were somewhere where you shouldn't have been.

Another great article that hits it on the head. The only thing that I would add as part of the " Smart Outlook on the Future" is that it is important that a person know beforehand what they beleive and will not bend on. When my wife and I were dating and getting to that point of discussing marriage I wanted her to know that there were certain situations that I would NOT live with under any circumstances. One example was unconditional trust. I wanted her to understand that I had worked to earn her trust and would do nothing to violate that trust and that if that trust should ever be taken from me without cause or if I were to be questioned without reason then there would need to be change. I knew this from having been in previous relationships where the girl had trust issues. I wanted my wife to know that this was something that I could not be comfortable "living with" and that if we ever reached this bridge then there would have to be change or an end. She agreed and we have had a wonderful relationship understanding beforehand one another's absolutes.
