Again with the one-size-fits-all. Many of the fears pointed out here pertain only or mostly to american men, not to all men. This site is visited from all over the world, so could you please be clear about your assumptions being made on americans only? Many of the so called fears that are presented here, are nothing more than just the masculine culture of the US.

I know it's hard to believe. Not all women are an "emotional tsunami." Some women never cry in front of others, ever. Have no fear of "her tears."

1: Agree, as long as one is just looking and not gawking. There is a difference.

4,5: Slodwin, "ALL" men are NOT "dogs." But I would venture to say that women who think that way are dogs themselves. To make generalizations like that, tells me you are very insecure and feel a false sense of power that you don't really own. You're pathetic.

No wonder I don't bother with this guy's blog. All of his numbers are pure hokey, contrived only to make talking points. The only thing a man is afraid of is the whiskery stubble on a woman's legs after he's softened her up with a dozen roses and box of chocolate.

wow...I believe the man asked for fears not the battle of the sexes...I think the biggest fear is in reveiling those fears because it leaves you vulnerable to attack.

the worst fear is being old and alone, possibly some of you will live long enough to know what it is like. certainly it is not very plesant.

#34 - Hello shutter. I also fear of being alone in my old age. Sometimes I ask my children jokingly, who's gonna take care of mom and dad in our old age? My children, especially my youngest would cry and say, "please don't grow old mom, if you grow old you'll die and if you die I will die also". The older ones would say "I'll take care of you mom, like the way you are taking care of us, it will be our turn to take care of you when you growl old." How sweet of them to say that. But I guess we really cannot predict the future and we should not impose our children to take care of us in old age. They are going to have their own lives to live someday. But here in our country, it is our custom and practice to take care of the parents and not put them in the Home for the Aged. (sorry I'm babbling..)
