i had been dating my man for a week before valentine's day. he sent me a HUGE vase of red roses and brought me 2 boxes of candy. he hit it on the head. my boss got daisies, because her boyfriend wanted to be different, and guess what? she went gaga over mine. he messed up. do the typical romantic things on V-Day, do the other suggestions at other special times.

Valentines day is meant as a day for expressing or shareing the love to all the people in our lives,,,it is not a WOMENS special day,,to receive high dollared gifts, and a man should not be convinced that the amount of money he spends will make a difference, because it don't, The Only thing a female wants on valentines day, is flowers, because it makes them feel loved and cared about,,,giveing a man a simple card, is what makes him feel the same way,,men just prefer cards over flowers,,,,valentines is a day for everyone to feel special,,,so if a women EXPECTS IT,,,it's probably because she don't think of anyone else but herself,,news flash, money does not buy love,,,not even on valentines day,,,,,

My fave example was the email one, especially when it tells the guy to describe what he likes about his mate! I've been married 35 yrs. and I still don't know what my husband LIKES about me, specifically. Knowing WHAT and WHY is important to women. I still love getting roses, but not red ones. But my hubby knows that. Candy? No PJ's of any kind? No, naked is better. I like the finger food idea, very much--better to be alone and not in some restaurant. Set the finger food close to a fireplace, some wine, soft music and candles everywhere. That would do it for me!

Wow! Aren't you the romantic. You are already or will someday make a very lucky woman ver happy indeed. Why can't guys get this stuff? I really don't expect a gift...just some passion. I think there might be some women out there that agree, but then again maybe not. I like your articles so much i am going down the line. I finally got some free time and this is a very enjoyable way to spend it. Have a great evening!
