My best gal pal and I only speak in movie quotes. Sometimes the professional writers just say things better.. However nothing beats a man saying some thing original, even if it's kinda doofy. I run into communication trainwrecks because I end up being the one too scared to open up. My last boyfriend complained that I didn't share enough. Maybe I'm a weird chick, but as much as I love talking, sometimes I just want to play videogames and eat pizza. Talking about feelings all the time is exhausting!

oops, Sorry, did I ruin your "secret" language idea? I didn't mean to. :oD No that's not true. I just enjoy reading the posts, even when they don't apply to me. If it makes you feel better my gal pals and I quote romantic comedies more than we would apollo 13, clint eastwood or Jerry McGuire.. "Help ME Help YOU"

"help ME help YOU", I love that one. It's so true about the verbal, my girls and I can go two hours on a phone conversation without pausing for air. My husband gets a call from his friend, two sentances later the phone is hung up. How can they live? What is that? Don't they want to know who did what to who and when? How many times they blinked that day, and what food they ate..Camon, life isn't worth living without knowing every single little detail in your friends life right? You can also see it on the blog posts. The guys usually respond with a sentance or two, the women, well I'll use my entree as a prime example. Keep talking ladies, men just love it, right??lol coco

My Husband says he learns more when listening to people than he does when talking. No wonder he's so smart. He listens to me!

#4 - Really, please, don't! You finished your posting saying that we men love it when you women are talking all the time, and the truth is, you couldn't be any further from it. A woman who keeps going on talking, quickly bores the heck out of us and we loose any interest we had in her, except maybe for something physical. Believe me, I have met very few women who talk just enough to convey a message, and maybe a LITTLE extra, and those have been either my lovers or my best female friends (sometimes both). No, we do not like a woman who goes on and on talking. So please, don't encourage them to do so saying that we like it; we don't!

2 EARS, 2 EYES, 1 MOUTH - it seems a simple enough design to me for people to understand it is more important to listen or read than to just babble incessantly.

BTW, for a guy, your blog intros always seem long and sort of rambling. Just an observation from a mere woman who speaks directly and to the point.

my man always let me do the talking. if i stay quiet more than 2 minutes he always asks me why quiet? if i ask him the same question he says he wants to listen to me. Can somebody help me to get my man talk more than just " I love you" and "uh Huh.." and other vague babling. Not that he is dumb or something. He graduated from Law school but he is lack of that lawyers' smooth talking. I wonder is it me or...
